Gossip Girl x Sherlock
“You must be wondering why I asked you to come here,” the young man said while enveloping the woman’s hand under his own.
“Great deduction, seeing as unknown men came into my house and dragged us to the airport and now we’re suddenly in New York. Joy.”
Sherlock rested his chin on his joined hands and sighed. “Seeing as we have no choice. What seems to be the problem, Mr. Bass?”
“My father died under unfortunate circumstances. I was with him on the roof when he fell, so naturally, I’m the main suspect. I want you to prove I didn’t kill him.”
John glanced to where Sherlock was sitting and he was doing what he always did - studying his clients, learning everything about them from one meeting.
Sherlock just stared at them from several minutes. The girl.. his girlfriend, he thinks, covers their entwined hands with her other and rubbed the hand covering her own reassuringly. The man closed his eyes and visibly relaxed.
“Fine,” Sherlock said. “I will help you. Now tell me everything that happened.”
————————-
The couple left them in their hotel room. “Interesting!” Sherlock exclaimed into the room the moment the door closed.
“What?” John asked. He opened the mini-refrigerator to get some water and sat down next to the chair Sherlock was currently sitting on.
“The couple. They’re so in tune with each other and I can see from one glance that they’re in love and can’t wait to tie the knot. You know I reject the notion of love.. but the two of them are interesting. It’s very curious.” Sherlock sat and pondered for a few more minutes while John sat, dumbstruck that his friend was discussing love. Love! He was still staring at Sherlock incredulously when the man stood up and got his coat.
“Anyway, let’s go and settle this.”
————————-
The day after the young man was dropped from being a suspect, Sherlock sat across the Bethesda terrace in Central Park, looking at the event transpiring below.
“What did I tell you, John?”
He looked at the couple, wondering if something was missing in his life before he rejected the silly thought and stood up.
“Let’s go. I shudder to think what state we’ll find London in once we arrive.”

Happy Birthday, Lana. This was written in haste and it sucks, I apologize, but I wanted to make you something combining the two shows you love and this is what came out of my mediocre skills. I hope you enjoy your birthday! I love you bb!

Up DisneyPixar WIP by ~un-dead-lord
I was talking to Anne the other day about Up, realizing the significance of Carl and Ellie’s chairs as a symbol for their life and love together.  The two chairs, old and weathered after so many years came to represent the everyday things, the mundane things, the “ordinary” things - simple things, like reading the paper together or deciding how to paint a room.  Chuck and Blair had plenty of fireworks for sure, but there was also the ordinary things, the sweet, compassionate things - spooning together, warm kisses and snuggling, giving us a glimpse of their married life together.
I thought about Chuck and Blair, and their ship name, and the endurance of a “chair”, and it just made me emotional.  Because a good, serviceable chair will last through anything, give you a place to rest and relax and be there to support you.  Chair.  Chuck and Blair. Carl and Ellie.  The Pixar parallel = destiny for an epic, beautiful, long-lasting and strong love.
