And don’t come to me bitching about things simply falling into their lap. Chuck worked hard at BI. Blair will have to work hard to find a suitable designer (most people agree it has to be Jenny tbh) and prove she is worthy of running a business as well.
Not gonna lie, I want Blair to become a lawyer, but they really want the “dictator of taste” for her so I’ll go with it.

I think it’s frustrating fans who just want them to be together and be happy, but we have to save the finish line for the finish line.
Of course we have to draw it out a little bit but like when they say, ‘Why can’t Chuck and Blair just be together already?!’ and it’s like well if they were together then we’d have to break them up in five minutes. The thing is, maybe if Chuck and Blair ever get together fully we want to earn that and take it to a new place, but also I think Blair knows that now.
I don’t know if it was ever a question in the season. It was a matter of arcing out their relationship. We crafted the last act to set us in a certain direction next year.
