Leighton: I wanted to look like a doll…. We added some antique-looking bird pins from Fred Leighton. It was really, really pretty.
Strahan: Leighton said she felt like a doll when she put on the dress, so I decided to make her look like a doll come to life - I wanted her hair to look soft and touchable. I curled it with a three-quarter inch barel iron and sit it in pin curls. Then, I lightly backcombed it and pinned it loosely at the nape of her neck to make it look like she had a bob. I also used a tiny bit of smoothing cream on the curls near her face to create soft waves.
